Government of Tamil Nadu, Health and Family Welfare Department official website published MBBS Counselling Schedule 2011. Directorate of Medical Education, Selection Committee conducting Counselling for MBBS/BDS Admissions 2011-2012 in Various Government of Self Financing Medical Colleges. TN MBBS Conselling start from 30th June 2011 to 6th July 2011.
Important Notes:
* Candidates are requested to be present 1 hour in advance for Counselling Individual intimations are being despatched to the candidates.
* Even if they do not receive the intimation letter they can attend the counselling as per their counselling schedule. .
* The candidates whose marks get revised due to re-totalling / re-valuation are permitted to attend the counselling as per the counselling schedule with proper evidence. They are eligible only for the vacancies available at the time of counselling.
* If the candidate is absent during the lsl Phase of counselling, he/she cannot attend the 2nd phase of counselling.

My sister got 197 as cut off and BC community.
Is there any possibility for getting a medical seat through counselling.

hi,only the eligible candidates or all the candidates have to appear for first phase of counselling
bcoc the candidates who did not appear for 1st phase will not be allowed for second phase..........
